ACI Multi-Purpose Room
This project began with a feasibility study to determine the scope to address numerous concerns throughout the building. Ultimately, the project focused on changing a portion of the building's warehouse to a Multi-Purpose Room since the number of paper copies of ACI literature was decreasing as digital copies became more prevalent. The Multi-Purpose Room serves not only the 90 person ACI staff but also guests that could be in attendance for educational events or social events. Previously all of the educational and social events would have to be held off-site at a rented facility, costing the ACI staff time and money. The project also addressed the needs for catering and improved entry and circulation on the ground floor. The Multi-Purpose Room is outfitted with state-of-the-art audio and video capabilities, reconfigurable furniture, and electrical and workspace for the guest lecturer.
